Städtisches Museum It exhibits, along with many historical objects of the region, the development of the tin can manufacturing, from her early beginning until the industrial manufacturing. Get to know the honorary citizen William Steinway in an exhibition in which also the first table piano, manufactured in America by the company Steinway & Sons, can be seen.

Wilhelm-Busch house

Wilhelm Busch Haus The world-famous poet Wilhelm Busch spent the last ten years of his life in Mechtshausen, Seesen’s smallest district. In Mechtshausen you can visit the family’s house with many of his poems and graphic arts as well as his tomb.
