The Harz offers a wide range of winter sports possibilities. Tobogganing, winter hiking, cross-country skiing or alpine skiing: for every challenge there’s a fitting match.
Bromberg-Loipe (cross-country ski trail)
The 6 km trail takes about an hour to finish, which makes it possible to take the tour after a day’s work. The diverse route runs through a marvellous forest. From the Bromberg cross-country ski trail you have access to other trails that will lead you to the Prinzenteich lake. On the way you are offered dreamlike views and if the weather is nice, you will have an open sight on the Brocken, the highest mountain of the Harz.

From the car park take right on the Neckelnbergweg, after 1 km go left over the Brombergskopf and go straight on. On the next junction, go right in the direction of the Futterplatz, cross the Bromberghöhenstraße and the Lange-Egge-Weg downhill. Finally, go right again to the Sternplatz.
